Embracing Nature: A New Venture in Costa Rica

I am thrilled to announce my new venture in Costa Rica, where I am embracing a lifestyle deeply connected to nature. Living part-time immersed in the lush landscapes of Costa Rica, I am realigning my values and priorities to reflect a more sustainable and regenerative way of life.

In this beautiful setting, I will be applying the knowledge and methodologies I have developed throughout my career and ongoing consulting projects. My focus is on architecture that goes beyond sustainability, aiming to regenerate both the self and the environment.

Applying Career Insights and Methodologies

With a rich background in sustainable and regenerative design, I am excited to bring these principles to my work in Costa Rica. This venture will serve as a living laboratory where I can integrate and refine the practices I have championed, such as eco-design, bioclimatic architecture, and community-focused urban planning.

Exploring Biophilic Design and Off-Grid Living

Part of my new venture involves exploring biophilic design, which seeks to connect building occupants more closely to nature. I will also be experimenting with off-grid and self-sufficient living solutions that promote independence and resilience. This approach aligns with my vision of creating collaborative, sustainable communities that thrive in harmony with their environment, living more in connection with our emotions and biodiversity.

Beyond Sustainability: Regenerating the Self and Environment

My goal is to create spaces that do more than minimize environmental impact. I seek to develop projects that actively regenerate the natural world and enhance personal well-being. This approach will involve innovative design strategies that prioritize eco-friendly principals.

A Commitment to Continuous Learning and Growth

Spending time in Costa Rica provides a unique opportunity to deepen my understanding of sustainable living and ecological harmony: PURA VIDA. It is a place where I can continue to learn, grow, and apply new insights to my work, ensuring that my designs are not only artistic and functional but also profoundly respectful of the natural world.
