In July 2022, Carolina was selected and honored for her transversal work of years as an architect, designer, curator, and mentor as one of the top 20 Latin America World Class Female Leaders for Change.

1997 "Axis" Award recipient for "Best Thesis of the Year" at the School of Architecture of the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
1999 First Prize in the Competition of Ideas for the Physical Habilitation for North Petare UDU 4.4 Julian Blanco, North Petare, Caracas, Venezuela.
1999 Special Mention equivalent to the winner of the project for the Physical Habilitation UDU 10.2 Vista Hermosa, La Vega, Caracas, Venezuela.
2000 Selected as an Architect "barriologo" innovator in transforming slums to participate in the VII Havana Biennial of Art, Cuba.
2010 Coño es un Cuñete selected to participate in the II Iberoamerican Biennial of Madrid, Spain.
2014 Selected to participate in the first US group exhibition for Latin American design “New Territories: Laboratories for Design, Craft and Art in Latin America” held at New York’s MAD Museum of Arts & Design.
– 2014, travelled to Albuquerque Museum, New Mexico, January 2016 and Museo Amparo, Mexico, June 2016
2016 Winners if the competition “Sites Artistiques” with the project C.A.S.E (Création Art Station Est). Paris, France.
2017 chosen to be part of the international committee for the conceptualization of the exhibition “Le French Design” by VIA. Shown in 20 different countries within four years. Paris, France.
